Ingredients:

2 (1lb) cans of Chickpeas

3/4 cup of sesame paste
-
2-3 cloves of garlic
-
2 fresh lemons
-
1/4 cup of olive oil
-
1 teaspoon of salt
-
1 cup of water
How-to:
In a food processor, put the 2 cans of chickpeas rinsed & sesame paste, water, salt, 2 squeezed lemons, and mashed garlic.... let it mix till the hummus is creamy, taste then place in a dish and add olive oil on top.


Tabuli Salad
Ingredients:
-
4 bunches of parsley (curly or reg)
-
3 medium tomatoes
-
2 bunches of scallions
-
1/3 cup of fine bulgur
-
1 tablespoon of salt or to taste
-
2-3 fresh lemons
-
3/4 cup of olive oil
-
1 romaine lettuce
How-to:
-
Wash parsley well and dry (cut the stems) then cut fine or put in a food processor to chop finely
-
wash and dice the tomatoes and scallions and add to parsley
-
squeeze the lemons and add with salt
-
soak the bulgur for 5 minutes before adding to salad
-
Add the rest of ingredients and mix well, taste, then serve with lettuce on the side

Pillsbury dough or flatbread
How-to:
-
Mix sumac thyme with olive oil
-
spread it on the pillsbury dough or flat bread
-
bake in toaster oven or oven till the dough is cooked
-
add tomatoes/onion/cucumbers/fresh mint leaves on top to taste

Ingregients:

1- 32oz of Plain Yogurt
-
3-4 persian cucumbers
-
2 large cloves of garlic
-
1 table spoon of dried mint
-
salt to taste
-
water to taste
How-to:
-
1st wash the cucumbers and cut in small cubes
-
2nd put them in a large bowl and add the yogurt
-
3rd crush the garlic(add salt to garlic) and add water to make it creamy in a morter and pestal (buy one if you don't have one)... add water to your preference thick or thin
-
4th add mint and mix well... then add more mint on top for decore!
