Ingredients:

  1. 1 package of chicken w skin (drums, thighs or breasts)

  2. 1 small bag of frozen peas & carrots

  3. 1 large onion

  4. 1 cup of orzo or rice

  5. 1 bunch of parsley

  6. 4-6 fresh lemons squeezed or to taste

  7. salt/pepper/cinammon stick/bay leaf/ or any other favorite spices like allspice 

 

Chicken Soup

How To:

  1. In a large sauce pan wash the raw chicken & add 10 cups of water, 1 cut onion, bay leaf & cinnamon stick

  2. As the water comes to a boil, lower to medium heat and add the rest of the spices

  3. After cooking the chicken for 40 minutes, remove the chicken, cinnamon stick and onion

  4. Add frozed veg's and rice/orzo and let it cook for 10-15 min then add cut up parsley & lemon

  5. cover for 5 minutes then serve with pita chips and chicken
